Earrings made from turkey feathers. Steve, Carlo's Uncle, killed a turkey. He offered up cleaning the feather's and then gifting them. Yes, I will utilize the beautiful feathers of a turkey!! Ants were also helpers in the cleaning duty. I love the raw process of how the earrings came about, it feels more precious. Man kills turkey + Ants attack and clean = Adornment. The dipped look seals the deal. I made these last night before heading out to the Cat5 launch. I paired them with a black and white striped tunic, a chunky hand beaded necklace, and over the knee fringe boots. I am looking forward to sharing the other beautiful feathers.
